My Actifit Report Card: May 5 2023

Sometimes after my running routine love to sip a refreshing green tea! Not only because it quench my thirst, but it also comes with some added perks.

First off, green tea contains caffeine, which will give us a little boost of energy after our workout. Plus, itā€™s a natural diuretic, which means itā€™ll help us pee out all that extra sweat we just generated.

But wait, thereā€™s more! Green tea is also high in antioxidants, which can help reduce inflammation and promote faster muscle recovery. So we can get back to running (or any other activity) in no time.

And, hereā€™s a bonus benefit: green tea can help freshen our breath! So if youā€™re worried about offending your running partner with your post-workout funk, just take a sip of green tea and youā€™ll be good to go.

So next time youā€™re feeling parched after a run, grab a cup of green tea and enjoy all the benefits it has to offer. Just be sure not to spill it on your running shoes ā€“ thatā€™s a whole other kind of green tea party! šŸ˜ƒšŸ˜‰
