It brings us great pleasure to provide an update to our Android version, which has officially been pushed today, with the update V0.9.0 going live!💥📱

This release comes as a culmination of the last 2 months of development, following the release of prior v0.8.0.
As always, the core focus is on improving the user experience and bringing in more functionality and fixes focused on the social experience as part of being on actifit and hive.

Main Features

As per the release notes, below is a listing of the key changes as part of this release:

• Revamp of send post screen experience: We have made a lot of core and layout changes to the send post experience, so that it becomes much more intuitive to our users and less prone to confusion. This involved providing a numbered steps process to finalize the posting process (still single screen), with each step turning green whenever completed.
  
  The report content section has also received updates, whereby the user can track his current characters count, with the minimum requirement being 100 characters to post. Additionally, the user will get some cool hints to write content there
  

• Wallet token transfer functionality (AFIT, HIVE, HBD): The wallet portion of actifit has mostly been static, meaning you had little control over transacting with your tokens, aside from claiming rewards. As of this release, you now have the capability to transfer AFIT, HIVE, or HBD tokens from within Actifit app.
  As transferring tokens requires your funds password (for AFIT) or your active key (for HIVE/HBD), you need to set those under settings to be able to use the functionality
  

• Notifications count display: We have added the display of your unread notifications count at the top of the main screen

• Chat notifications display: To make the stingchat more engaging, we have implemented a small red notifier on the main screen, that would show next to the chat button and highlight new chats since you last logged into the chat.

• New poll popup support: As part of improving the engagement with the community, and to get your voice heard, we have implemented a functionality to allow the display of polls which are created by Actifit team, and would enable you to voice your vote on future decisions, but also earn some AFIT by voting.
  

• Update stingchat version: We have updated our support for stingchat according to the latest version pushed by peakd team, in alignment with also updating our backend server version and web version.

• Improve more posts loading: We made a small change to loading more posts to make the experience more user-friendly.

• Update outdated libraries

• Fix issue with buying level 2+ gadgets.

• Fix large image crash issue.

• Fix user image in comments.

• Add scrollability in comments for buttons display.

• Adjust comment loading to full content instead of snippet.

• Fix cutoff post/comment content issue: we replaced the old markdown parser with a different one, as the old one was causing some content not to be displayed.

• Other minor fixes/improvements.
