The Quetzal! Not only is it the Guatemalan bird, it’s also the name of the Guatemalan currency. It’s the most beautiful bird I have ever seen and the song that the bird sings is like none other. The males grow two tails during mating season and have the longer tails called the train. Females have shorter tails. My son calls it his money bird 🥰🥰 so sweet.
It was a beautiful day today and I captured this picture on my run this morning one of the neighbors in town had it painted on the side of their house. So glad I did my run early.
