A heavy snowstorm rolled in late last night and we woke to a Winter landscape of almost a foot of wet snow on the ground.
The sidewalks were covered in plowed up snow and pretty much impassable so we looped around our mobile park which let me get in a mile and Lulu could take care of her doggy business.
The snow continued to fall intermittently through the day but the sun shone and the snow stopped for a bit after noon. I took Lulu over to the gravel pit where we walk in the morning and we trudged through the untouched snow.
The deep snow made the walk a good workout and the spots were melt water had collected were cold slush puddles that soaked my feet. The temperature wasn’t too bad and the bright sun lit up the white landscape.
We circled around the field 3 nice long loops with Lulu having a blast plowing through the snow and rolling around every now and then while I trudged along.
We headed onto the slushy roads for another mile or so before finishing up on the snow again.
Lulu had a great time but it willing be good to ser the snow gone soon.
