Well Mother Nature finally sent dome welcome rain showers our way. I was still feeling a bit tired and stiff but managed a couple of decent walks in between the rain drops.

I decided not to go out prospecting today with the threat of severe weather in the forecast. Lulu and I went out for our now-usual morning stroll. Lulu seemed to be more interested in checking out all of the smells along the way so we moved along at a “leisurely” pace (ie slow 😁). It was still a good 3 miles or so and the relaxed walk was a good start to the day activity for us both.

A trip to the dog park for an hour made Lulu happy until the dark clouds started to glass some lightning 🌩 and loud thunder and we headed back home (Lulu doesn’t like the storms - we think she was a puppy in Texas during the time hurricane Harvey went through).

I’m glad to see rain but I wasn’t thrilled to try walking during the thunderstorms but the thunder let up and it was only rain so I put on my rain jacket and headed out.
Of course the rain let up and I got to get soaked from sweat with my rain gear on and only a few drops fell during my walk. Next time I’ll just wear my shirt and enjoy getting wet instead.

Maybe we’ll check out Lynx Creek tomorrow to see if there’s any water and on Saturday it’s time for another dog rescue transport over to Flagstaff which should be fun.
