Another day and 12K steps. Of course most of those are walking the dog in the morning and the evening. Nico was patiently waiting downstairs for me to get ready to go this morning.

In the morning he was intrigued by the electric pole at the bottom of the hill by our house. He knows there is something in there.

In the evening his tastes haven’t changed much. He really wants to get at whatever is in there. To him its like Christmas and he is waiting to unwrap the present inside.

It’s actually pretty challenging to get him to leave the pole. He is really really wanting the squirrel? that is living inside.

Other than that I had to check the drains around the house as they have gotten clogged with dirt and debris after all the rain.

Even while walking around the street I saw a member of the 7 Oaks Alliance church uncloging the storm drain by the church as I was walking Nico.

Other than that my son’s and I went to look at cars at Velocity Motors in Burnaby today. My youngest son’s car has a couple of issues (air conditioning doesn’t work and starter is having issues). Those are expensive repairs so its time to decide what to do next.

My older son looked at a Mitsubishi Colt Ralliart edition…it was small but surprisingly peppy and fun.

My younger son was looking as a Nissan Skyline. It has a classic look and sounds nice when revving to 6500rpm. Overall though it was the GT-X N.A. variety so its hard to want to let him waste $15K CAD on it.

Overall we didn’t buy anything today but we will keep looking and thinking before making a final decision. Time with the dog morning and evening. Time with my sons in the afternoon. Time with my wife watching some TV after this.

Overall not a bad day.
