Sometimes its best to just take a look up every now and then. You might just see something beautiful.

Then again, you might just get a face full of rain.

Today started pretty much like every other day. Get up, get dressed, and take the dog for his morning walk. 40minutes later I have 4000 steps and I’m back at home.

Then its time to get ready to go to work. I really dislike Saturday shifts. I’m the only pharmacist on shift so usually it means I have nothing to do for half the day and I’m swamped the other half. Everyone just seems to come in at the same time.

However, I make it through my shift and then its off to Church. It’s actually nice having church on Saturday night. Especially nice since there is a pre service dinner (by donation) and after service dessert.

Not having to cook. Huge bonus.
Getting together with the congregation. Nice way to finish the work week.

Of course after the service I have to walk the dog again …

I get to see the derelict house down the street (which is still valued at over half a million…crazy).

The elementary school down the road with the cherry trees in bloom on their grounds.

The ducks and geese hanging out by the lake.

And a few other geese hanging out with their goslings. Side note: Don’t get too close those geese get pretty protective of their little ones.

Overall a pretty good day.

and of course tomorrow will be doing the walking all over again.
