From Floor to Ceiling! 😊
From the “ Floor trail” I could see clouds directly uphill!😮
I was crossing my fingers for a bit of Sunshine today…………….
Nope………not today Lol!😅
Today was one of those days when you slip your rain jacket on right from the start of the hike!☺️
I hiked up Keith and Lynne’s long gravel driveway, till I came to the “Floor trailhead”.
A steady stream of water, was cascading down the middle of the trail.
The trailhead marker is like the “Leaning Tower of Pisa”, Lol, the ground is extremely saturated from the rainfall!😅
Ferns, the same ones you can purchase at Home Depot for approximately $20.00, were growing out of the bark of some of the older trees.
Silvertop you are definitely in the middle of a rainforest Lol!😊
I climbed to the top of this trail…………
At this point I was now above the clouds!
Briefly the rain stopped, I pulled my waterproof hoodie off.
I hiked the ridge line, finally arriving at Tim’s off grid cabin.
I had just hiked a several mile long loop…………😊
Before I started back downhill, I stopped and snapped a photo of a colorful Sunset!
Hmmm……………🤔
I thought that “Red Sky at Night” was indicative of a beautiful day tomorrow!🙄
I guess “all bets are off the table” in the Mountains of the Pacific Northwest Lol!😇
