Hello Canada!🤗
With the Sun hanging low in the sky, Silvertop, Liz, and Jan, headed North into the Mountains!😀
Today’s destination, was Westergreens tree forest!😀
If you remember from past hikes, Westergreen is a logger.
He owns thousands of acres on Sumas Mountain stretching North towards Canada.
These trails lead into very thick, very dark forest……
With a Cougar kill just yesterday, Silvertop thought it best to hike in a group of three people that he was sure he was able to outrun Lol !😇🤣😺
Jan was finding Cougar “Scat” all along the ridge top as we hiked!😳
“Silvertop, I think we are hiking in their bathroom!”🙄
Yep……………
Fall is in full swing at the higher elevations, and as Silvertop explored a secluded high mountain lake, @elizabethbit was snapping photographs of the thick frost that covered parts of the trails!🥰
Apparently @actifit-lamb was snuggled in Liz’s bag, and jumped out to see what “Canada” was!☺️
I hiked along the shoreline of this beautiful Mountain Lake, and suddenly hundreds of Ducks took flight!😮
“ Silvertop did you scare all those ducks?”🤔🥰
Apparently so Liz……😇
Daylight is short this time, and it was time to trek back home……
“No Cougars today Silvertop!”🥰
None that WE saw Liz, I’m sure they are watching us!😺
