Are you coming Liz……Fall is almost here!😊
One of the first trees to turn color at the beginning of the Fall season is the Vine Maple.
The first photo is a nice example!😊
Over on the Eastern side of the Cascades, it is dryer and hotter, and these Maples apparently enjoy that type of climate!
This year was hot, we had days reaching 108 degrees during what they called a “Heat Dome”!🥵
Let’s not do that again next Summer, after all this is the Pacific Northwest!😅
The trees are starting to turn, and we are seeing the results……brilliant color!😊
As we hiked, Liz was slowing down………
She tweeted her back yesterday, and she was attempting to walk it out.
By the time we reached the downhill leg of today’s hike, you could tell she was hurting!😲
Home at last, and Liz is sitting down writing her post.
