Heavy machinery up and down Silvertops road today…
Our neighbors at the top that live off grid, have brought in a road construction crew, to try and take some of the severe grade out of the road to their house.
They gave us a heads up last night that machinery would be up and down some of the gravel road that we use to connect with our trails.
Being the naturally inquisitive person Silvertop is… I wanted to go check it out!😇
The Mrs is a planner, and she wants to look tomorrow…🤣so you will need to come back to my @actifit post tomorrow to see photos !😯😇
So we continued on uphill, on our regular mountain hiking trail tonight.
Now take a look at the fourth photo, another couple that are living temporarily in another off grid cabin up top, are planning on building a Yurt!
This is a gas powered lumber mill!
They are stacking Cedar logs, and are planning on firing up this mill!
My guess is they will use these planks for the decking for the Yurt!
I will take lots of photos, when they get this mill running, it sounds exciting!!
Keith and Lynne the couple that are improving their road, used this lumber mill for the Cherry wood boards for their home up top!
Every tree was from there property, guys this is a tremendous amount of work!😅
I will call this a wrap, with 57 uphill floors after a day stacking more firewood lol!!!😅
