What a couple of weeks I have had. I participated in a biotech entrepreneurship competition (results awaited). Started the next phase of the project. And also taught at least 8 new words to my daughter who is now picking up the language. But none of that stuff that kept me busy stopped me from going on the daily walks. I may not always remember to open my app and record the steps, but on days I do, I do notice I do get at least 10K steps.
But here is the thing, despite walking 10 K steps a day, every day, I have gained a few kilos. It’s not much, maybe like 3 Kg. And it seems to be a new metabolic equilibrium point. If you don’t know what that is, don’t worry. Someday I will do a post explaining that. But I think that most of the weight gain is from all the stress I have been under. I think I need to ramp up and add some running time to my schedule. Hopefully my next fitness report will have that.
