Hello everyone 😻,

TGIF 🥂🍻and a very warm welcome to my report. We are on the brink of the very last weekend of May. Next weekend is June🎊. As always thank you for reading as I let you in on how my stepping went and the latest trending stories.
It’s always a joy to do this, come on let’s get into it💨.
So this morning the rain was absent so I made the most of it around the neighborhood for close to an hour.
It was a beautiful cloudy morning with the sun 🌞 popping out once in a while.
The cool breeze made me speed up my pace to keep warm but I already had 2 jumpers on😹.
Then most of the day I was indoors catching up on the chores and trending news.
The next stepping came later on in the evening to close off the day woth the slow paced evening walk.
Abit of music in my ears but with so many cyclists, there are some areas the music just has to be off for my own safety😹.
So that was the walking, next let’s look at what trended globally.
The biggest story comes from the Hague where top UN court, the ICJ has ordered Israel to stop it’s offensive in Rafa🙀.
They have also been ordered to make sure the needed aid and humanitarian assistance reaches to ordinary civilians.
This after South Africa’s case against what it called an ongoing genocide.
Further, ICJ has ordered unhindered access to UN members to carry out further investigation in Rafa and Gaza in general.
Many figures around the world welcomed the ruling while Israeli officials expressed anger and defiance🙀.
However, Israel has continued airstrikes in Rafa despite the order.
Across the pond in the US, rights groups have demanded that Biden halt Israel arms transfer after that ICJ ruling.
Though the ICJ has no power to enforce it’s ruling, that move piles further pressure on Israel and US even as the war continues.
Then political shenanigans 😹 as China had started two days of military exercises around Taiwan as strong punishment for the self-ruled island’s separatist acts. That’s three days after the new president Lai Ching-te was sworn in.
In crazy weather, more than 300 feared dead in Papua new guinea landslide😿. My sincere condolences to the bereaved families😭. Nature can be quite unforgiving.
