Hello everyone 👋,

Happy Caturday 🐈 and a very warm welcome from Bob and yours truly😹. It’s Bob’s day to claw 🐾 into the blockchain, so give it up for him and other furry friends 😻.Am on the lookout for other Caturday posts😼. As for me I have had a great day stepping it out this last Saturday of March; and just about now I wanna fill you in on how it went and also share some of the trending stories. Thank you for reading and let’s take it away 💨.
It was a nice morning so I had an amazing session of a long brisk walking around the neighbourhood and park. The other time I stepped out was to the shopping center for veggies and fruits around 1 pm. It was a largely cloudy day as I made my way. As always I had my usual afternoon nap, then I got up and had the cooking done.
Finally I had the usual slow paced evening walk enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃 .In between I was watching the news and also youtube. Some interesting games in the EPL were going on too.
So what’s been trending in the media streets? Locally a rather quiet day with the usual political shenanigans 😹.
Globally, Gaza trending as five people killed amidst gunfire and stampede. Thousands had gathered in Gaza city waiting for aid trucks. All hell broke loose when desperate people started running towards the aid trucks.
Speaking of aid, a three ship convoy has left Cyprus carrying 400 tonnes of food and humanitarian aid for Gaza. This will definitely help but UN insists that land delivery of aid is more effective than by sea.
Meanwhile, anti govt protests took place in Tel Aviv. Families of captives held in Gaza are calling on Benjamin Netanyahu to resign🙀. Accusing him of ignoring deals with Hamas that would set their loved ones free.
However, ceasefire talks between Hamas and Israel are set to resume tomorrow in Cairo Egypt.
Elsewhere there has been shelling between Hezbollah and Israel. Israel hit towns in Lebanon as it targeted Hezbollah fighters.
Trending in Europe, Zelensky fired aides in reshuffle as Russia unleashed new attacks overnight🙀.
In London and Paris pro Palestinian protests kept going. In London, few arrests as Pro Israeli rallies cropped up😹.
Across the pond in the US, Trump posted a video of a truck showing hog-tied Biden 😹. The Biden campaign has condemned the video accusing Trump of regularly inciting political violence.
In south America, Peru trending as police raided president Dina Boluarte’s house. This after she was seen with rolex watches that she hadn’t declared😹
I don’t know if they found the watches though.
