Yesterday we went into Chinatown in Sydney to celebrate the lunar new year. There were lots of people.

First thing we did was go to through China town to see the street stalls.

Next we saw the gate and festivities around market city.

There were so many people so we decided to see the lanterns for each zodiac. They were on George Street a little away from Chinatown so the crows weren’t as bad. This one is the snake

And this one is the ox
After the lanterns we sat down to watch the jet pack show. This was amazing.

They did backflips and twists whilst balancing on a jet of water.

Finally therr were fireworks which we saw as we were driving home so no photos of these. A great evening of celebration.
