Yesterday was a family day out. We started the day off at the southern highlands. There was a tulip festival held in the gardens near the centre of town.

There was a variety of colours on display

Also there were some sculptures of butterflies

After the wall in the gardens we developed an appetite so had japanese food for lunch, I had a chicken katsu donburi

After lunch next came the walk to the water fall. But first a toilet stop. I saw this sign and couldn’t help take a photo of it.

Basically it was a pit toilet so they are worried small children can fall in. Eeeeew.

Anyway the waterfall was spectacular
I took this one of the rainbow glimmering off the waterfall.

We also went for a decent walk too.

Despite all the activity I still haven’t reached my target, so went for anevenjng walk near home and captured the sunset.
