The hiking trails of Ozarklife WOW! I never know what to expect when out on the trails and today was totally unexpected. While @madame-cyntaia and I were walking down a mostly dry creek we were joined by a fisherman of sorts. I almost stepped on this midland water snake 🐍 who had just made a fresh catch. The snake is about 12 inches long and the minnow maybe an inch and a half. The poor minnow was still alive as the snake was slipping out of the water, truly an amazing glimpse into the Ozarklife wildlife.

In the deep waterhole we spotted another larger midland water snake about 24 inches long hidden by the edge of the waterhole, he was hard to spot with the glare on the water.

After all that exciting stuff it was time to work 2- close. A slow shift but the guests were friendly and generous so a win win today!
