And on the road back to San Diego again. Yesterday, we didn’t get to Ganado until past 11 pm. The roads were scary icy.

That is why I really wanted to get on the road by 1- because it was a bit above freezing and I was hoping for ice free driving.

But for one, I slept until 8 and for 2, my husband did nothing to get us ready.
Anyway, I cleaned, cleaned, cleaned. Packed the car wading through pretty deep snow.

Finally, we got going around 2:30. I forgot to do a couple of things but overall, I think I did okay.

And leaving any later would have meant even more night driving.

Another storm is in the forecast and we wanted to be below the snow line.

Mission accomplished.

Now, sleep and a lot more driving tomorrow.

But we got to see beautiful skies 😎
