The balcony crop. I’m happy with our still thriving strawberry plants that live in pots on the balcony. Fruits are going from white to red in about a day or so.

I don’t think I have still time to gather any additional cherries from our village garden. They come and go two fast. The two-hour harvest from last weekend should do for the year. We still haven’t eaten it all and I already shared some with friends and neighbors.

Oh, and I did try and learn how to dry them out the other day. Perhaps I needed to be even more patient with the household oven.

For the time being, let us just say that I am not great at baking cherries.
