Christmas Shopping…

In a budget, is it possible??

From my other hustling old account @craftsofluv I actually mentioned I was about to handmake some prayer journals for my family and friends; however my ambitious plan has been ruined by my gullible stupidity that got me caught in a ponzi scam disguised as a earn while learn futures trading part-time job.

But what I have promised, I must make do.

With a bit of the HBD I earned before, I started hunting for alternate materials for 10 prayer journals.

I plan to post it to my thrift shop for 2024 thrift shop later if you guys like what I did with all the ready materials I have with me.

Christmas lights always have a way to cheer anyone’s heart. I guess we all truly are made to shine for HIS glory as we are naturally attracted to these glimmers (of hope).

Material stores are always a playground for me. Often times I do have a lot of trouble practicing self-control. 😅

However this time, I intend to restrain to the max: get exactly what I need and not entertain any “additional ideas”

I previously almost bought this book sleeve online, but they required huge bulk of purchase. Good thing this stationary specialty shop has it, with a little pricier price tag. However to test it out I do not need to get a lot, and this just so happened to have 10 in a pack!

After paying for what I need and was heading to get some eye meds for mom, I was very blessed by a high-school choir they were performing for the afternoon.

They are really good, though! And I also get to observe how the conductor behaves in a proper public setting.

However it does looks too "stiff", a contrast to their beautiful voices!

I have some raw footage but it was quite noisy with a young child in front of me shouting as loud as he could asking his mom about the choir while they were singing.

However, I love how the choir team leader shared that Christmas is not just about dinners, parties and gifts; but to remember that God so loved the world, the Saviour was born through a virgin to shoulder its cursed sin.

From this angle, the Christmas tree suddenly looked like an angel with all the lights like its wings!

I couldn’t stay too long as my mom needed the medication, but it was definitely a wonderful treat!

I have finally started printing and preparing the prayer journals, but the finished product isn’t there yet. I’ll share its progress at my old hustling account because it is more related there.
