I played an eighteen-hole round out at my favorite disc golf course. My score was not too good today at a +7 and I lost one of my discs. I searched for it for some time but the bushes were tall enough to hide it. I liked the color of the disc but having a multi-colored disc in the tall grass and brush is difficult to spot.
I have a couple of other multi-colored discs but I hardly ever throw them because they seem to hide like a zebra or something. The only thing I find harder to find is a clear plastic disc.
It was not one of my favorite discs and I had not thrown it much for a year or so. That was part of the problem because I did not know how stable it was.
If I don’t get the disc back it will be fine. I have replaced it with another over-stable high-speed driver. I have a few backup discs for that wind-fighting distance throw into a headwind.
What it looked like today out on the disc golf course:
Sometimes hole two results in a birdie:
(Sometimes you come close to the parked cars too.)
A close-up of a rock and some rock art:
(Clip art, lol.)
