My friend, son and I played disc golf on a difficult eighteen hole course today. My son won the round and I came in second with my friend at thrid. (-1, +4, +10)

I missed a couple putts by just a little bit and I had one throw go out of bounds on my new Sword disc. I’m still learning that disc and probably should not have been throwing it on a long forehand flick approach. I tried to throw it a bit too hard and it went way off line to the left.

After we were done with the round it started raining pretty hard. We were lucky that it worked out nicely for us to play in reasonably nice weather.

I’m setting out for Colorado in the morning and will be driving hard this time to get out there in a couple of days. (Usually I like to take three days to go there because of the distance.)

Usually this pond does not come into play unless you can’t throw far enough across the gap.
