Sambil Shopping Center

Located in Caracas, between Andrés Bello and Volmer avenues in La Candelaria, it is one of the many shopping centres built by the Sambil Construction Company. At the time it was being built, the government expropriated it and its construction was paralysed, it was the cause of much controversy after long legal disputes, The construction company managed to recover the building. I thought it was appropriate to get to know the shopping centre, because once it was confiscated and for a long period of years, its construction remained closed, it was deteriorating and in complete abandonment, it became a refugee centre. Once returned to their owners, the usurpers were evicted. The work was resumed again by order of the Supreme Court of Justice, which ruled in their favour, and they were able to recover and finish the work.

Centro Comercial Sambil

Ubicado en Caracas, entre la avenida Andrés Bello y la Volmer en La Candelaria, es uno de los tantos Centros Comerciales, construido por la Constructora Sambil, para el momento que lo estaban construyendo el gobierno lo expropio y sus obras fueron paralizadas, fue motivo de mucha controversia después de largas disputas legales, la constructora logró recuperar el edificio, me pareció oportuno conocer el centro comercial, ya que una vez que lo confiscaron y durante un periodo de largos años, su construcción permanecía cerrada, se estaba deteriorando y en completo abandono paso a ser un centro de refugiados. Una vez devueltos a sus dueños, desalojaron a los usurpadores. Retomando los trabajos de nuevo por una orden del Tribunal supremo de Justicia, quien sentenció a favor, así lograron recuperar y terminar las obras.

This shopping centre is innovative, large and the only one we can find in the west of the city.

El año pasado a mediados de agosto lograron abrir sus puertas al público y en diciembre fue su gran estreno, este enorme centro comercial cuenta con infinidades de locales, para el esparcimiento de sus visitantes, quienes ven una opción a la hora de disfrutar un gran paseo, en el lugar podemos encontrar entretenimiento y servicio; todo tipo de accesorios para celulares, venta y reparación; gran variedad de comida, tiendas de ropa, calzado para niños y adultos, así como peluquería, óptica, bodegones, perfumería y tiendas de marca, entre otras que les iré mostrando. Este centro comercial es innovador, grande y el único que podemos encontrar en el oeste de la ciudad.

Por la gran población ubicada en el sector oeste, es muy visitado y se ha hecho popular, ya que es uno de los mayores sitios de atracción y esparcimiento para los caraqueños. Yo quedé maravillada. Existen muchos locales, pero aún están por abrirse otros, la amplitud, decoración, sus luces naturales, salones de estar y la gastronomía son diferentes a otros lugares, todo esto en particular lo hace único. Aún mantienen los adornos navideños que los quitan cuando celebran las festividades marianas de la Virgen de La Candelaria el 2 de febrero del presente año.

El establecimiento es tan cómodo porque el acceso para llegar puede ser en el Metro de Caracas. Transporte público e incluso caminando desde el casco histórico de Caracas. Yo recorrí este paseo en familia, este instante lo disfruté con mis sobrinos, aprovechando los días de vacaciones y de caminar un rato para fortalecer mi cuerpo, además de que me sirvió para compartir y distraerme con buena compañía.
