I had no idea that a $150 Windows 11 Computer even existed! But my desktop computer has been glitching lately where it makes a loud static-y sound a few times a few minutes apart then goes to a green screen. I had to hibernate it with WindowsKey-x then u then h. I then wait until it hibernates and the power goes off. A minute later I hit the Enter key on the keyboard and it comes back fine - for a while!

So I wanted a good backup and saw some I liked between $400 and $600. I almost bought one I liked, then almost bought another.

Then I found this and fell in love! It’s the Chuwi HeroBox Mini PC with Windows 11 - for only $148! Wow, Windows 11 alone costs $139 from Microsoft! This small computer is made from parts designed for laptops so it is small and uses very little electricity. Of course it’s not going to play the latest games at high resolution and frame rates but it’s fine for office work and browsing online. Actually I went to YouTube with it and watched some 4K videos full screen and it worked perfectly. I haven’t tried any games on it yet but I’m sure older or less graphic intense games should be fine.

MY ACTIVITY

today was a night time walk. It was 62 degrees Fahrenheit and no rain, low humidity and clear skies. I saw the beautiful almost full moon again. I also walked to some public stairs and climbed 40 of them.
