Halloween in Hong Kong 2023

I have seen that a Neon Pumpkin Ghost decoration is taking over Hong Kong because the Hong Kong Tourism Board Office organised this Halloween campaign to promote more tourism in Hong Kong.

Various venues across the city have been decorated with this Halloween theme, especially some metro stations, and people can take pictures.

In the Wan Chai promenade, there is a giant pumpkin Ghost with many Halloween decorations; some families bring their kids to play some games, and they can get unique gifts for participants, and adults wear their Halloween costumes, too.

In Admiralty metro station, they have decorated the electrical escalator with many Hong Kong iconic representations with Halloween versions.

This Halloween fever has become so popular this year because the whole month, I have seen kids and adults wearing Halloween costumes all over the city.

I saw on TV last Saturday that there’s a Halloween carnival on one of the Tuen Mun beaches; if I know early for sure, I will go because it’s pretty near to my place.

The most significant place for celebrating Halloween is the Lan Kwai Fong area; it is located in the Central District and is famous for expatriates and locals where they can drink, dance, dine, etc. If you are looking for fun, this is the right place. They also have a website where they constantly update their latest activities.

Finally, It’s pretty fun to see people wearing those Halloween costumes, especially kids, because they are the ones who most enjoy this festival.

Happy Halloween to everyone.
