My Actifit Report Card: March 23 2025

Started feeling a bit under the weather yesterday and today, boo! BUT it also made me realize, literally for the past 10 years, winter would hit me HARD. I’d get sick every holiday , I’d be sick for 3+ days down and out, sinus infections, bad colds, etc, etc. I frequently complained of lack of sick time.

But this past winter? Some sniffles. A day out here and there for a cold. Going home early once or twice. But mainly, the sicknesses have been super low grade - like small colds where you know something’s off and you’re tired, but not grueling.

I think for me diet has played a massive part. I’m definitely eating more fruits and veggies and trying to intake more vitamins through food and eat cleaner. I’m also exercising.

Also it’s PROBABLY a placebo but just to throw it out there, my cold killer that I use whenever I start to feel off - Remedy Organic Berry Immunity protein drink, Ryl Peach Iced Tea, and homemade chicken noodle soup with lots of veggies and low sodium broth. Today I’m using beef bone broth bc it’s all I have. And zicam- I love zicam lol. Next day I usually wake up feeling good. But again, probably a placebo lol.

But just a long winded rambly reminder that it isn’t all about weight - health is more than weight, it’s about taking care of your body so it takes care of you. you’re all doing great regardless of where you are in your journey, you are trying everyday to take care of yourselves.
