Turkey Tail abundance! More on that in a minute.

Definition of work today: total insanity! 🤪 we started before we actually are open and ran full speed ahead until almost 6:00 PM! It was almost a 10 hour day for me. To add to the chaos was additional phone calls, patients who walk in wanting to order glasses and folks with repairs that apparently I’m the only one who can do them. I was swamped, I IS swamped and I see no relief in the forseeable future! The new gal starts tomorrow, which is good. Next week, she replaces my seasoned coworker on an overbooked day. So if I’m drowning now, I’m going under next week! Not much I can do unfortunately. Today in all honesty, we could have used three people. 😔 Job security-right?

I watched a documentary once on ‘shrooms called Fantastic Fungi. I highly recommend it. They spent some time on Turkey Tail and it was pretty amazing the medicinal properties of this beautiful ‘shroom. If you haven’t see it, Google it. It’s worth a watch!

Anyway, that’s it for today. I’ll be busy tomorrow trying to cram a lot of info into my new gal’s head! Wish me ( or maybe wish her luck!🤞)
