A card arrived in the mail before Christmas. I put it under the tree because I could tell there was something in it. The inside envelope….

Upon returning from Christmas weekend with our son, we opened the card you see in the first picture. Inside were some decadent chocolates.

Upon opening, this is what was inside.

The inside reads:

As you can see from the last photo, there was more than chocolates in this card. She also sent a .999 fine silver one Troy ounce round. Very nice and very shiny!

We slept in this morning and I mean late! It was after 10 AM when I got out of the shower! We must have needed the sleep. Ladies Bible study was canceled which I was kind of glad as I was going to have to call off again as I had software work to deal with. Then this afternoon, we headed out for a hike to the off grid cabin. Jan came with. She’s been quite sick, but is over the majority of it and wanted to get out.

I’m sharing pictures from our Christmas Eve hike with our son and daughter in law as the scenery is much more beautiful than anything I saw today! Enjoy!

Alas, tomorrow is Wednesday making it my Monday……can I stay home please? It’s the last minute’-oh I’ve got to use my insurance benefits before the end of the year’ rush! Nothing like procrastinating until it almost too late! It also means that I’ll be staying late on Friday as that is the last business day for the year. ☹️ People don’t consider the fact of what procrastinating can do to others!
