This evening, shortly before sunset, I walked with some of my family in Worth Park Gardens. A public park in the grounds of what used to be a girls school. Nowadays, there is just a block of flats where the old mansion used to be.

A lovely place to walk even in very early spring. The gardens are kept in good condition by the town council, and today looked ready for the coming summer growth.

I was surprised to see some flowers already open on several of the shrubs. In summer, the flower beds are wonderful.

It was quite chilly as the sun was getting low, so we didn’t spend too long outside but we did venture as far as the lake to briefly take some pictures of some geese with their goslings.
