It was a work day for me. A normal shift but for a truck breakdown! 😆. This seems to happen rather regular these days. It was soon put right by our appointed maintenance unit for Gatwick Airport.

The breakdown meant that I had to remain on the airport after the first catering job. Waiting to meet the next truck while the first truck was reloaded.

Not a big deal but another example of what can happen.

I was also asked to stay late if needed again to attend a late flight, but later it became clear that it would be far too late. Night shift would cover it.

Town centre is looking damp and cold but the shop lights warm up the picture in the gloom. I don’t visit the town centre much but it is usually quite a busy place especially in better conditions.
