Winter has arrived!

Not with a bang but we did have about 2cm or three of snow.

It was lovely. I cycle a lot around this park which is rather more extensive than these pictures show. Today I walked with my wife to show her the scenery around the lakes.

There is a visitor centre here but it has remained closed since the Covid pandemic started and has not yet reopened sadly.

A picnic area looks bleak in the winter but a popular place in warmer summer holidays.

It’s good to get some fresh air at any time of year even when it’s chilly like today. Each season gives something special to be enjoyed and if you visit a place regularly over the whole year you can see the changes happening around you.

A very nice walk today in some beautiful scenery. We are lucky to have parks like this close by. Crawley, our home town, has several parks like this very close by.
