The day dawned cloudy? What?! We’ve had nothing but intense sun ☀️ and hot temperatures! Although the day did eventually become sunny-one thing was missing!- the heat!! Yippee 🥳 The next couple of days are to be likewise, but then we will begin heating up again. Summer’s not done with us just yet!

We took a load to the dump late morning and then headed to Home Depot to price some shelving. Lumber prices have come down some, and it was more cost effective to purchase the 3/4” sheet of plywood rather than melamine pre-made shelves. On the way home, we stopped by the clinic so I could pick up a bottle of anti fog for glasses. Today was Jan’s birthday 🥳 so I figured a practical gift was needed as her glasses fog up while hiking to the point that she has to remove them. I remember fogging up when we were all wearing masks, and given she seriously fogs hiking, I figured it might give her some relief from it.

All the flower pics are from the restaurant next to the clinic. They have tons of flower boxes and planters. They are simply beautiful 🤩

That’s gonna be it for now. Tomorrow brings my workweek start. I’m sure we will be busy.

On a sad note…. We lost a lady today from my ladies Bible study. Her name was Eden; wife and mother of two children. She was in her early 40’s. She had cancer. So sad and hard to believe she’s gone. She was one of the most positive people I know, despite her circumstances. She will be missed 😔🙏
