Aubameyang To Barca On The Cards

Arsenal are in need of a striker, despite the 3-0 win against Southampton, goals are still hard to come by this season and with Auba looking to force a move away from the club, we will be quite light upfront.

Lacazette and Nketia are on the last 6 months of their contracts and could see out their contracts and leave on a free if Arsenal do not ship them out during the January transfer window

Nketia and Lacazette both don’t seem interested in signing new deals nor does Mikel see them as part of the future of Arsenal.

After Aubas antics this past week, there are now reports from Spain have claimed Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang would be willing to leave the Gunners and join Barcelona in January.

Mikel Arteta dropped the Arsenal captain because of a “disciplinary breach" but it was also down to poor form. I think his days in North London could be numbered and its claimed Xavi is interested in bringing him to the Nou Camp.

The Catalans are looking to strengthen their forward area in January, and it appears Aubameyang is one of their main targets. They also claimed he would be willing to join ‘Xavi’s new project’ if an offer was made.

Xavi needs a runner who can stretch the play and Auba will offer that, this move screams a mirror of the henry deal but I think this time Arsenal are getting the better deal.

If we do move on all 3 strikers in January Edu has his work cut out for him and would need at least 1 striker to come in and support Martinelli and Balogun who will be the only recognized strikers at the club, with Pepe able to play as a false 9 if needed.
