Forecast was ugly. Big rain they said.

Watched the opening of the Super Bowl. Looked out the window - dry. Checked the radar - all the rain was over the mountains and big. Seemed a good idea to drive north with a walk and shop plan

Well the big rain hit on the drive up the freeway. Shop and see what happens. It was walls of water

Put the TV on when I got home - rainy day is as good a time as any to watch Super Bowl. Cooked a good lunch - fish cakes from yesterday leftovers plus eggs and bacon and kransky sausage. Do not often do this - was good. Do not know a lot about American Football but it looked like a very disciplined walk in the park too strong to let a maverick quarterback dictate

Went for a short loop walk under the umbrella to get steps in. Easy theme - pink lilli pilli berries

Got the steps in. Spent a lot of the afternoon and evening writing up a product review.

Dinner: A simple dish of easy to swallow stuff for my wife - she lost a filling. Toasted sandwich for me as I had a cooked lunch
