Another different day going. We are heading into the city for a friend’s 60th birthday. We will stay overnight in a hotel close to the venue.

Wake to a rainy day. No point in wandering around the city in the rain - so we headed out later than the original plan. That gave me to work on the latest affiliate marketing program I am working on - more later

When we got to the city there was a Royal Caribbean cruise ship parked in Circular Quay. Checked in - went down for happy hour drinks and heard the ship’s horn. Rushed out for photos as the ship left

Party being held in the Chapel of the Rawson - a facility set up for seafarers. Interesting venue - never noticed it before. Venue was super hot. Food was a bit scarce especially for anyone with food challenges. Slowed the booze to manage that

Did spend a lot of time on the fire escape balcony - outside with a view of the city from Curcular Quay

Party wrapped up a little before midnight. We were starving. Found a place advertised as Pancakes - they had a.muchnwider menu and we could choose stuff we wanted to eat. Late walk back to hotel along the streets being set up for markets tomorrow. Nice night out.
