Weekly walk down Lovers Jump Creek - Orchids - Yes : March 29 2023

Another rainy day - third day in a row. Wrote up the overnight investing stuff - just a few. The mornings just seem to slide by - a bit of social media, a bit of Internet marketing stuff. Got to say it feels like a rabbit in the headlights. Not knowing which way to jump. Am pretty clear I need to reset the whole IM stuff and focus in on building my own product business. The affiliate marketing returns are not working for me. That has me chopping around on ideas - never a good place. Too many ideas and not enough focus. My wife is on slow recovery from her dental surgery - that has put back timing for our break away.

Did drag myself out to walk Lovers Jump Creek. Did not take the umbrella. New turtle orchid opener in a known spot - side on view explains its English name

Nodding greenhood rosette - one of the few greenhoods that has a stalk on the leaves

Two types of orchid leaves on show

Did start to rain. I did have a rain jacket. Mushroom collected rain drops

Fab colony of chiloglottis curviclavia off track - never seen so many plants in one spot. Looking good for 2024

Last of the summer orchids - bonnet orchid

Sharp greenhood budding - way behind progress last year

The mosquito orchid colony has a few more flowers open - tough to get a photo in focus in low light on hands and knees in leech territory

The best I could get - acianthus fornicatis

Found a few more budding further along the track

Nice little banksia forming

It did stop raining and there was some blue - got pretty steamy

Did I mention leeches? One of 3 today

Fern unfolding for my friend Robyn - RIP

Waxflower

I call this the "upside down flower". Not often does the photographer get to see the flower from below

As I walked up the steep part of the track, I was wondering of there would be a lobelia flowering. They are stimulated by burning - this section was reduction burned two or three months ago. Sure enough - two lobelia dentata flowering

Banksia forming off track

Tough photo - a few mini mushrooms on a mossy base - also off track

Mini flannel flower - aconitiflorus minor

NSW coral heath flower maybe

Pea flower

Tio down photo of this mushroom did not work - too much white together any focus. Underside is better

Sharp greenhood budding in a know spotnon the south side. One of 4 plants budding.

Chiloglottis seminuda - a few new openers in a known spot. Only one photo in focus - leech attention is the culprit

Stooped in local shop for a few things. Turned into a nice walk after the misgivings about the early rain and no umbrella

Did some garden tidy up when I got home in preparation for mowing

Dinner: Made ratatouille and mash for my wife still recovering from dental surgery. Added in some bbq sausages for me. Yum.

Trade action: Bought AGN.AS. Adjusted UBSG.SW to get the credit spread out-the-money This report was published via Actifit app (Android | iOS). Check out the original version here on actifit.io 29/03/2023 12948 Daily Activity, Gardening, House Chores, Photowalking, Shopping
