New King Parrot Introductions - Record Rain : July 5 2022

No surprise there - it rained all day again. The lorikeets were begging for food

Not long after was a visitation from the king parrots. Clearly food in the bush has become short

A few newcomers - this mottled headed female is not as mottled as her mum. She is bold and takes no crap from the other king parrots

The lady in front is a new baby too

Also some new males - one of these is new

This is a special photo - 5 in one shot. The one with the yellow flash on the back is new and super timid.

I loved the 20 minutes keeping the lorikeets away

The work for the day - pension accounting

Did get out for a walk in a dry spell - rain swept trees is one theme

Council has work to do to clear blocked drains - all those leaves gets washed down the drains

Last week I walked this road, the tree was not fenced off. What changed?

The removal truck was here last week - the house is empty. I am going to guess it will be knocked down and the council wants to protect the tree
