Thorfinn only shows up at the end of episode one, looking a bit older, but now he’s a slave? Weird. He was one of the top 3 strongest warriors in Season 1, but in Season 2, he’s a slave. I guess Askeladd was right—he never thought about what he would do after Askeladd died.

Askeladd did tell him to go far, just like Thors, his father, would have done. Maybe go to Vinland and live a peaceful life, but he didn’t. Sigh, disappointing. Well, I guess there must be more to this.

He was almost killed, but he doesn’t seem to want to fight anymore. He chose to die, but this guy named Snake 🐍 tried to cut him, and Thorfinn started attacking back. Then Snake said, “See, you do want to live. You said you want to die, but your body wants to live.”

After that, they patched him up because the soldiers were cutting him everywhere, trying to scare Thorfinn, but he wasn’t scared at all. They even cut the tip of his ear, and still, there was no response from Thorfinn. The other slave tells the doctor, “We need to control these soldiers,” but Thorfinn said nothing will change because the strong kill the weak; that’s the nature of life. Damn, it is true though. Look around us—the powerful are on top, and the bottom are slaves.

In the modern world 🌎, the words are changed to “workers” or “partners,” but in reality, they’re slaves with a bit of freedom. But the freedom is not even real freedom, because you won’t have the money to go anywhere unless you save up for years. Ok, I’m being negative again. Let’s end this post. Thank you for reading.
