Wczoraj dokończyliśmy operację wymiany materaca. Myślałem, że skora ja chcę go wymienić, to będę musiał zorganizować transport, tzn. wynająć busa, ale sprzedawca uparł się, że on gwarantuje darmową dostawę na terenie miasta, a w tym przypadku też odbiór niechcianego materaca. Musieliśmy wczoraj po południu czekać na dostawcę, ale wszystko przebiegło szybko i sprawnie. Nowy materac w ocenie żony wciąż nie jest idealny, ale będzie musiała z tym żyć.

[ENG] Yesterday we completed the operation to replace the mattress. I thought that since I wanted to replace it, I would have to organise the transport, i.e. hire a minibus, but the seller insisted that he would guarantee free delivery within the city, and in this case also the collection of the unwanted mattress. We had to wait for the delivery man yesterday afternoon, but everything went quickly and smoothly. The new mattress is still not perfect in my wife’s opinion, but she will have to live with it.

Dopiero wieczorem wybrałem się na spacer po osiedlu. Wcześniej myślałem, żeby wyjść pobiegać, dzięki czemu mógłbym już zakończyć sierpniowe wyzwanie, ale po nocy w pracy, a później upalnym dniu w domu czułem się zmęczony bardziej niż zwykle. W moim wieku muszę słuchać swojego organizmu, następnego dnia też będzie okazja do poprawienia wyników.

[ENG] It was only in the evening that I went for a walk around the estate. Earlier I had thought about going for a run to complete the August challenge, but after a night at work and a hot day at home I felt more tired than usual. At my age I have to listen to my body and the next day will also be an opportunity to improve my performance.
