Saturday was a nice summer day.

The kids did not come for breakfast as they usually do, so that threw my day off a bit.

We did some outdoor projects, mostly mulching the flower beds which took more time and mulch than expected.

My wife did the majority of the mulch.
I mowed our property.

In the afternoon, the kids came over and we spent some time in the pool.
This was a nice follow up after all of the yard work.

It was an excellent activity day for me.
