It’s been said that high school parents are now his hobby of putting kids in expensive schools with fancy facilities that even provide psychologists, not just a guidance counselor. Yesterday I noticed a seleb with only a 2-month old son, has been admitted to an elementary school at a long and difficult test like a real hehehe test.
I will not provide the above story because my daughter is also at the international school, providing education psychologist. Out of necessity, we also have a personal psychologist for that bastard who meets every weekend. Kids are homeschooling, but 4 tutor handles the “school” from academic, coding, ngaji, to music. Cheap is a relative yes, depending on the individual’s goals, capabilities and needs.
What I’m trying to say is: going to an expensive school, if mindset of parents is still “a fancy school = get rid of a child’s education” says yes. When education only happens in school, that’s when it fails to achieve its goals.
