This morning we walked a bit further from the River Side Park to the River Mill in Eaton Socon.

The River Mill used to be a pub, but is now more of a restaurant with a lovely view onto the marina.

They weren’t open, obviously, so the next walk will take place some afternoon to fit in a stop for a drink!

When we came through the River Side Park beforehand I was suprised that there was a Parkrun going on, something @steevc will be interested in, I’m sure.

It was news to me that it had one in the first place, but this one seemed to be a special one, as it was on the wrong day, normally on a Saturday, and it was mostly children taking part.
Also, it seems that the standard Parkrun normally takes place nearer the River Mill further South.
