For a long time I hadn’t used public transport in Milan… also because, having lived there for more than 30 years, now I only occasionally experience it as a tourist.

I never liked the weather in this city, which is mostly covered in a gray blanket of smog most days of the year.

But yesterday was a splendid sunny day, with blue skies and mild temperatures.

In the morning I attended my aunt’s funeral, along with relatives I hadn’t seen for some time.

I had lunch with my sister and in the early afternoon, using the subway, I went to the other side of the city to take advantage of a car sharing ride to go home.

Traveling with BlaBlaCar, I have always met interesting people and also this time I were very satisfied: the journey home went very quickly, talking about very personal life too.

When I got home, I took the dogs to "graze", with their great joy!

As a final icing on the cake, I had the joy of playing the piano for half an hour.

Da tanto tempo non usavo i mezzi pubblici a Milano… anche perché, avendoci vissuto per più di 30 anni, ora la vivo solo saltuariamente da turista.

Non mi è mai piaciuto il clima di questa citta, perlopiù ricoperta da una grigia cappa di smog la maggior parte dei giorni dell’anno.

Invece ieri era una splendida giornata di sole, con cielo azzurro e temperatura mite.

La mattina ha partecipato al funerale della zia, insieme a parenti che non vedevo da tempo. Ho pranzato con mia sorella e nel primo pomeriggio, utilizzando la metropolitana, mi sono recato dall’altra parte della città per usufruire di un passaggio in car sharing per tornare a casa.

Viaggiando con BlaBlaCar, ho sempre incontrato persone interessanti e anche questa volta sono rimasto molto soddisfatto: il viaggio verso casa è trascorso molto velocemente, discorrendo di aspetti della vita anche molto personali.

Arrivato a casa, ho portato i cani a "pascolare", con loro somma gioia!

Come ciliegina finale sulla torta, ho avuto la gioia di suonare un po’ il pianoforte.
