….along the sea!

That beautiful picture is one of two elevated boardwalks along Bellingham Bay at Boulevard Park. Yesterday, that ended up being our hiking destination. The trail actually begins at the south end of Bellingham and traverses through Boulevard Park and into Fairhaven where you can complete the trail at the Marine Park. For our purposes, we stayed in Boulevard Park.

Take a look at these red flowers in bloom. Very vibrant!

It was a beautiful and sunny day here yesterday, unlike today which is cloudy and rainy. Bubble Man was entertaining the children!

There were plenty of water fowl along the shore. First, Alfred the Seagull!

There were two Canadian geese and just as I snapped the pic, it stuck its head in the water and presented its goose-butt! 🤣

In walking on the elevated boardwalk, looking down into the water, there were all kinds of baby fish swimming about. I told @silvertop they were at school learning how to school. 🤣 They were very small, but I was able to get a couple shots of them. I’ve circled them to make it easier to pick them out.

Some lovely Oregon Grape in bloom.

It was a beautiful day! I’ve got more photos I’ll share soon.

Today found us at church this morning. The worship and sermon were special as always.
