Obscure Shibuya | Actifit#1 - 2022/04/20

Shibuya - a popular place in Tokyo, Japan. What comes to your mind when you hear this word? Ah yes, hachiko, shibuya crossing, crowd, buildings.

That’s also what I thought about it, not until I walked my way to Shibuya station.

This is my very first post in Actifit. I got curious about it since I read a lot of posts about it and it seems to help me keep track of my activities. I hope this isn’t the first and last time that I will do this.

Cloudy spring night, I decided to do walking to at least have some exercise. Always a fan of random walks in the neighborhood, but this is the first time I walked around Shibuya-ku.

Not a lot of people can be seen walking with me. Actually the route seems shady but I believe it’s safe.

Reached the JR tracks and to cross to the other side, I need to climb up the pedestrian overpass ramp.

Continued walking and reached almost the heart of Shibuya. There’s a canal (I honestly don’t know the english term, sorry! Is it sewer? Drainage? Or maybe canal is right?) that was being lit up. Why? I don’t know. 😅

There’s a very big pedestrian overpass and they are connected to the nearby buildings. This area of Shibuya is just near the station so it’s getting busy now. My walk has ended - I’ve reached my destination.

I’ll try to do more walks and other exercises from now on. Need to be back in shape before the year ends. Hopefully I’ll be motivated and not get lazy.

Til next time!
Thank you for reading!!
