I woke up this morning with some joints still aching from the intense workout of the previous day, so I slept in and didn’t plan to jog.
A friend of mine contacted me advising that I stay away from working out for at least a month because it was rather working to my detriment as I overdid it.
I thought he meant a day or two and was surprised that someone who worked out could give such advice. Knowing fully well that I will experience this pain again if I stay off for a long while.
Unlike a few people, my goal for working out is not to trim a part of my body and go on with my life but to make working out a lifestyle because I have seen the healthy look it gives to consistent elderly people. They are neither weak nor back curved and unhealthy.
I want to live a longer healthier life.
I am alive and grateful. Hope you are too.
