Hi Everyone,
It has been a little longer than usual since I posted an Actifit Report. I have been busy both with posts and with work in the garden. My work in the garden has been my main source for activity counts. I have been moving concrete blocks and tiles, and large wooden railway sleepers from my driveway to the top deck of my garden. The concrete blocks were for the wall separating the middle section and top section of the garden. My garden is tiered into 3 levels. So I have walls separating the bottom from middle and middle from top.
The sleepers and concrete tiles are for the base of the sun room that will be assembled on top of them. The sleepers are at the bottom and tiles will be on top. I have just flattened the ground so that the sleepers can lie flat. The next step involves screwing the sleepers together. I have just bought some metal brackets (L-shaped and straight) to do that. I’m also ordering PVA glue to stick the tiles firmly to the sleepers. Hopefully, that will form a solid base for the sun room. I still have quite a few more tiles i need to carry up. So, plenty of heavy lifting to do.
I completed 2 posts since my previous Actifit Report and Update. The first post was the final post in my Covid-19 assault series. In the post, I discussed the rapid implementation of totalitarian laws during the pandemic. The post considers if the totalitarian response was a sign of panic by the establishment to the increasing number of people who waking up to the problems of the system we live in. The post discusses why the resistance to the totalitarian push has been minimal and how the establishment has used fear to convince people to give up their freedoms. The post also discusses the type of totalitarianism that the establishment desires. Is it more like communism, is it more like fascism or is it something completely new? I finish the post off by discussing how the response to Covid-19 is a precursor to the Great Reset (next step in the establishment’s plan).
In my other post, I revisit the oligopoly market structure. I strongly dislike the oligopoly structure. It restricts both competition and cooperation between firms, customers, and the community. I argue that oligopolies provides outputs desired by the providers (big business) instead of outputs desired by its customers. I argue that competition between firms can occur if there is a diversity of competing products. I also discuss how Government intervention is hurting competition and small firms in particular. The post contains plenty of examples of how oligopoly market structures can become more competitive and enable smaller firms to obtain more of the market share.
That wraps up this Actifit Report and Update. I hope everyone has a great end to the week and weekend. I need to get back to moving tiles. Should be fun.
