Today started with my normal Wednesday routine, first to Maurie Jacobs Park and then down the riverbank path to Alton Baker Park where I killed some time before going to my 10am appointment.
After the appointment I thought I would take care of a simple errand: go to the “xfinity store” to pick up the stuff I need to start cable internet in the apartment I’m moving into in a few days. They’re located near Valley River Center so it was a bit out of my way, but I figured I could just head back up the riverbank path, stop in at the place and pick up the stuff, and then head home.
However, I wasn’t accounting for the “we’ll put your name in a queue, and you wait around until we call you” system that would have me standing overheated in the store for over an hour. After that, and the walk home, I’m feeling physically drained and don’t anticipate getting much else done today. At least I got a lot of steps in?
