My Actifit Report Card: September 11 2023

Sunday we continued our adventure at The Defeat of Jesse James Days in Northfield. This event culminates with a big parade.

The Budweiser Clydesdale Horses made an appearance helping to kick off the parade.

This jeep participated in the Normandy Invasion June 6th, 1944. It is frequently used in the area as a means to promote history.

The James-Younger Gang also rode in the parade, which makes sense as Northfield celebrates their demise.

And, of course, this Dragon (not a Pokemon) looked a bit steamed to be in the parade. Great looking Dragon outfit, and they were using some sort of fog device to simulate steam, and much safer, too.

And there were clowns, which are always fun to see.

And last, but never least, the Minnesota Pipes and Drums brought up the rear of the parade.

This parade is fairly long, lots of entries, floats and other bands from around Minnesota participate. A good time.

And, yes, even though I was idle downtown for close to three hours for the parade, I did get a chunk of walking around in.

Looks like images are breaking on the blockchain right now. Hope they start loading soon. (edit)
