Not to sure what to say about today. It started with an earthquake warning about a 5.1 earthquake. Also numerous alerts about a typhoon. Neither affected us but is still a lousy way to wake up

In the morning I went up to my house to take some measurements and discuss how we will with to get things ready for occupation.

Waking through a flooded muddy pasture to get there… not fun.

As for the home itself. So looks like a bunker but hopefully some paint, windows, doors, drainage and yard work will make it better.

As for Santa Maria. Did that in the afternoon and it was a little grotto or park. Pretty with paths and pools but only 5-10 minutes to see everything.

Right beside it? A restaurant that buys used cars?

And a very sad looking restroom. The heavy rains didn’t do it any favors.

Then I got some steps by walking to see a nearby “resort” which was more hotel with a pool.

We also got to see what was supposed to be a house built by my neices brother in law… however due to breaking some unspoken filipino rules the house is unfinished and he will likely be arrested if he returns to the Philippines.

Too got to walk much but did get enough steps to post.

Let’s see what tomorrow brings.
